WHEREAS, the City Council of Aspen, Colorado,
has examined and considered the report dated March 3,
1965, and report dated March 11, 1965, by Chief of Police
Louis G. Hennig and Partolman MacKintosh, relating to
inspections made on March 3, 1965, and on March 10 and
March 11, 1965, of the premises known as The Knight Club,
concerning alleged violations of the State Liquor Laws
and regulations, and further questioned Chief of Police
Hennig pertaining to the same,
WHEREAS, the City Council has further taken under
consideration report of alleged violations of the State
Liquor Law and Regulations by Roger W. Walker, State
Liquor Enforcement officer,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of Aspen, Colorado, that the Council does hereby find and
determine that there is probable cause to believe that the
licensee, The Knight Club, has violated the liquor laws
and regulations of the State of Colorado, particularly
Section 75-2-4(14), and regulations of the Secretary of
State numbered 19 and 22.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a hearing is hereby
scheduled and directed to be held at the City Council Chambers
in the City of Aspen, Colorado, on March 22, 1965, at the
hour of 3:30 o'clock in the afternoon and that notice shall
issue to the licensee of such hearing and that the licensee
is hereby ordered to show cause why the liquor license
should not ~e suspended or revoked for the alleged violations
disclosed in the said reports, particularly as the same
relate to public health and safety in connection with
obstructed and congested entrances, floors, inadequate
illumination, wet, littered, dirty floors with glass and
other debris thereon, unclean restrooms, and disorderly,
indecent and lewd behavior on the part of the employees and
patrons.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized
and directed to issue and cause to be served notice and order
pursuant to this resolution.

that the aforegoing is a true and correct copy of a Resolution
adopted by the City Council of the City of Aspen, at a special
meeting held March 12, 1965, and confirmed at a regular meetin~
held March 15, 1965.
