APPLICANT: Aspen Junior ~oc~ey, with consent to apply from the Ci~ of
Aspen.
~DRESS: Aspen Recreation Center (~C), 861 Maroon Creek Road.
~QUEST: The Applicant is requesting a Specia~y Planned Area (SPA)
Amendment and a GMQS Review for an Essential Public Facili~
to construct a 136 square foot office space and a 295 square foot
meeting room within the ~C's ice facili~.

STAFF Staff recommends that CiW Council continue the review of this

The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended that Ci~

RECOMMENDATION: Council approve the proposed requests by a vote of six to zero.
STAFF COMMENTS:
Due to the other significant agenda items scheduled to be reviewed at the September 26th
meeting, Staff would recommend that the review of this application be continued to
October 11th. The Applicants have agreed to a continuation of the review until October
