ASPEN HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMITTEE
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, evaluation of the Taylor Residence has determined
that the guidelines and standards of Section 24-9.3 Standards for
Designation of the H, Historic Overlay District has been met for
designation, and
WHEREAS, research has documented that the Taylor Building
was constructed in 1889 and was owned by F. M. Taylor, co-founder
of the Taylor and Brunton Sampling Works Company, and
WHEREAS, the Historic Preservation Committee has received
the present owners' request for such designation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASPEN HISTORIC
PRESERVATION COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO,
That the structure located on Block 44, Lots K and ½ of L
is recommended for a H, Historic Overlay District.
