THE ~PPOINTI~NT OF HPC NE~BERS TO THE CHAI~CTER ~ND COI~UNITY
CITIZENS COIOfITTEBS OF THE ASPEN ~RF~ COI414UNITY PLaN
WHERE~B, the Aspen/Pitkin Planning Department is currently in
the process of developing the Aspen Area Community Plan (AACP), and
WHEREAS, citizen input is a vital aspect to the development
of this plan, and
NHEREAS, Citizen Committees have been formed to address the
five basic areas of the Plan: Character, Community and Growth,
Transportation, Housing and Open Space.

the overall Aspen Area Community Plan under development is found
by the HPC to be central to the continuation and enhancement of
Aspen's Historic Preservation Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ~SPEN
PRESERVATION COI~ITTEE OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLOI~DO:

The following regular members are appointed as HPC representatives
to the citizens Committee of the Aspen Area Community Plan,
Bill Poss, Chairman, Character Committee
Glenn Rappaport, Community and Growth committee
It shall be the responsibility of these members to solicit input
from the HPC as a whole, and report the progress of each Committee.
APPROVED by the Aspen Historic Preservation Committee at its
regular meeting on August 14, 1991.
