HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.hpc.010-1999RESOLUTION OF THE ASPEN HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENTS TO THE FINAL APPROVAL FOR THE ISIS THEATER, LOCATED AT 406 E. HOPKINS AVENUE, ASPEN, COLORADO RESOLUTION NO. ~ 0, SERIES OF 1999 WHEREAS, the applicant, Isis LLC, represented by Charles Cunniffe Architects, has requested amendments to the final approval for the property located at 406 E. Hopkins Avenue. The property is a designated historic landmark and is located within the Conunercial Core Historic District; and WHEREAS, the project monitors, Roger Moyer and Suzannah Reid reviewed the amendments and elected to refer them to the full Historic Preservation Commission for a decision; and WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Historic Preservation Commission on March 10, 1999, the Commission considered and approved amendments by a vote of 4 to 2. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT REsoLVED: That amendment to the final approval for 406 E. Hopkins Avenue, the Isis Theater, Aspen, Colorado, be approved as follows: 1. As per Exhibit 2 presented at the March 10, 1999 meeting, the windows, light fixtures, and skylights were approved, with the following alteration. From the front of the building, right to left, the two middle windows will drop down so that the sills and head heights match. All the head heights of the west faqade would be the same height. All the sill heights would be the same. APPROVED BY THE COMMISSION at its regular meeting on the l0th day of March, 1999.
