HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.hpc.047-2000RESOLUTION OF THE ASPEN HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF CONCEPTUAL DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL AT 735 W. BLEEKER STREET, UNIT A, ASPEN, COLORADO RESOLUTION NO. 47 SERIES OF 2000 WHEREAS, the applicant, Randall Bone, has requested a six month extension of the HPC conceptual approval for the property located at 735 W. Bleeker Street, Unit A. The conceptual approval was originally granted on October 14, 1998 and the property is a designated historic landmark; and WHEREAS, Section 26.415.010.C.2.b.1 of the Municipal Code states that application for a final development plan shall be filed within one (1) year of the date of approval ora conceptual development plan. Unless an extension is granted by HPC, failure to file such an application shall render null and void the approval of a conceptual development plan previously granted by the HPC; and WHEREAS, Amy Guthrie, in her staff report dated August 23, 2000, recommended an extension be granted; and WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Historic Preservation Commission on September 27, 2000, the Commission considered and approved the request with conditions by a vote of 5 to 0. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That a six month extension of conceptual approval (starting from August 23, 2000) be granted for 735 W. Bleeker Street, Unit A, Aspen, Colorado be granted, to expire on February 23, 2001. APPROVED BY THE COMMISSION at its regular meeting on the 27th day of September 2000.
