HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.council.008-57RESOLUTION ~,, WHEREAS, the findings of the City Council at its meeting on June 17, 1957, upon the application of Mead Metcalf, d/b/a Crystal Palace, for a Wine and Beer License, to the effect that there were adequate liquor outlets already in Aspen was incorrect and wi thout bas is in fact, WHEREAS, the needs of the community and locality are not overburdened and that considering the number of licenses now in existence in the community and locality are such as would not be adverse to the needs or demands of the community or locality, and the issuance to Mead Metcalf, d/b/a Crystal Palace, would not and does not exceed the reasonable requirements of the neighbor- hood and the desires of the inhabitants on June 17, 1957, NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED that the findings of the Council were, and they are hereby declared to be, erroneous and that the Council does hereby find that the reasonable requirements of the particular locality and the reasonable requirements of the neighborhood and the desires of the inhabitants as of June 17, 1957, would not be exceeded, and that the application of Mead Metcalf, d/b/a Crystal Palace, should be and is hereby approved° Dated at Aspen, Colorado, this y of November, 1957. ,... ?.~ .,.~-~ / ,,.
