A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF ASPEN, COLORADO, RECOMMENDING THAT COUNCIL DENY THE PROPOSED
CLEVELAND STREET PARK.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to City Council requesting
the closure of a portion of Cleveland Street for the purpose
of constructing a park, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission desires to forward
its comments on the proposed closure of Cleveland Street for
the purpose of constructing a park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
The Planning and Zoning Commission does not favor and
recommends that the city Council deny the application
which requests the closure of a portion of Cleveland
Street for the purpose of constructing a park. The
Commission supports the planning staff's recommendation
of denial for Cleveland Park.
The resolution was unanimously approved by the voting
members of the Commission present, namely Roger Hunt,
Steve Buettow, Sara Garton, and Tim Mooney. Jasmine
Tygre abstained from the vote because of a conflict of
interest.
ADOPTED PURSUANT TO MOTION by the Planning and Zoning Commission
of the City of Aspen on December 19th, 1995.

resolution adopted by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
City of Aspen at a meeting held on the day hereinabove stated.
