WHEREAS, DON ENSIGN has served on the Aspen Planning and Zoning
Comnission continuously from August, 1977 to December, 1978, and
WHEREAS, during his tenure DON ENSIGN has given unsparingly of his time
and was instrumental in the development of the Aspen/Pitkin County Growth
Management Policy Plan and its implementation and worked successfully to
maintain the goals of the Aspen City Council and the Aspen Planning and
Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, DON ENSIGN contributed a good deal of knowledge and technical
advic~ by virtue of his education and experience in the field of planning, ~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
FOR THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
1. That DON ENSIGN be, and hereby is, con~nended for his many contri-
butions to the workings of the Aspen Planning and Zoning Commission which have
facilitated the implementation of many planning goals of this community and
enhanced its viability as a unique mountain town and resort.
2. That this commendation be made a matter of public record and that
a copy hereof be forwarded to DON ENSIGN on its adoption.

do certify that the foregoing Resolution was adopted by the Aspen Planning
and Zoning Commission at its regular meeting held Tuesday, March 6, 1979.
