Re: Zoning of Midland Park
Resolution No. 79-) ~)
WHEREAS, the Aspen Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing
on July 2, 1979, continued to July 10, 1979, to consider zoning for a recently
annexed area generally known as Midland Park, and further described by the
legal description in Exhibit A, and
WHEREAS, the Commission heard testimony from the Planning Office that R.M.F.-
P.U.D. zoning was appropriate for the area given its current townhouse development
and multi-family density and considering that an adjacent area on Park Circle
was zoned R.M.F., and also in view of the fact that this was an employee housing
project granted multi-family density in return for commitment to housing price
guidelines, and
WHEREAS, there were no objections from the public.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Aspen Planning and Zoning Commission
that it does recommend to the Aspen City Council that the area known as Midland
Park be zoned R.M.F.-P.U.D.
Dated this 17th day of July, 1979.
