HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.apz.008-72October 17, 1972 ASPEN PI~NNING & ZONING COMMISSION RESOLUTION FREDDIE FIStiE~ PARK ZO~qE CHANGE llI{E?~EAS, an application has '6e~-n filed by the Pitkin County Park Association to rezone approximately o~2 acres kno~n~ as Freddie Fisher Park and owned by the 'Park Association from R-6 Residential to P-Park~ and WI[E!LEAS, the Aspen Planning and Zoning Con~nission bas met in public hearing after giving proper public notice and duly considered a!l statements and comments conceyning said rezoning, and WHEREAS, the Aspen Planning and Zoning Commission has determined thatthe use of and protection for Freddie Fisher~ Pa~k is best pro~ided for under the F-Park zone district and furnher finds that the Park Association has no facility for maintaining the Park~ NOW TIIEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED~ that the Aspen Planning and. Zoning Commission does hereby recommend that Freddie Fisher Park b~ rezoned from R-6 Residential to P-Park as provided in Sections 24-8 (a) of Chapter 24 of the Municipal Code of the City of Aspen and further recommends that the City of Aspen main- tain the Park after the initial landscaping is completed° Vice Chairman Aspen Planning & Zoning Comm~:~siep~ Apl~roved this ~'" clay of ~_._'.__'_, 19/2.
