OLD BUSINESS;
ADMENDMENT TO THE ESPRIT STORE FRONT,APPROVAL TO DIVIDE THE TWO
LARGE WINDOWS WITH MULLIANS,506 E. HYMAN HARRY TEAGUE.
TEAGUE said the firm he works for was unable to fine a company
with glass large enough to to do it like on the plans, the glass
is 100 years old in one of the windows. He suggested to Burstein once
that they change the glass to run horizontal, but when looking at
old pictures it was vertical glass.
Showing the members a picture taking at the turn of the century,
shows the window divided up the way Teague is planning to do it.
The west window was never done this way, this is the orginal
peice of glass. They would like not to have the mullion but they
say there is nothing they can do ,because of the size of glass.
The center mullion will be four inches wide. The mullion will
divide the glass same as the other window.
Drawing of window and mullion can be seen in planning office
file.
Teague said he would like a motion stating that HPC accept this
plan, but also wholes open that if the company does find that
large a peice of glass, they be allowed to proceed as plan before
this admendment.

Mona Frost moves to approve and accept the vertical mullion in the
windows on each side of the entrance door to Esprit shop as
presented by Harry Teague and this motion does not proclude the
single peice of glass that Teague has recieved approval for.
