Budget
Money
Meeting open to discussion :
Mona Frost shown the members an article in the Aspen Times,
saying it would be nice for some of the members to be able
to go to this meeting on "Building Better Boards" by
Walter Gallacher it will be a half credit through CMC and the
cost will be $4.50. It would be nice if the City could pay
for things like this; Colette Penne mentioned as of now there
is no money alloted to this board from Budget for expenses,
or even to have guest speakers; She went on to say that the
members might want to consider if they had money alloted,
what each one would put on a wish list, and discuss it at
another meeting. Some items mention in this meeting were
special plaques made up for the historic designated houses,
or that you were entering an Historic District. Helping
some belong to the National Historic Register.
Color choice
light poles
Old Business:
Public Hearing for the choice of colors on the &n~i~up?~$ght
Fixtures, Larry Yaw and Jim Holland. There Public Hearing
was opened and continued for final consideration after the
site visit of today, where the members viewed the poles
~arting with number 1-5, 1 being at the far west pole
un Hopkins, and working around the corner, near the alley on
Mill Street. The Members felt the choice between # 2
a crimson mystery or # 5 a shutter Green, where the better
ones, Larry Yaw said that perhaps adding a little more
burgundy to the crimson mystery would be more appealing;
and that more black should be added to #5 the shutter green;
The members all felt that this was a good idea, and that after
the poles were painted again, with these suggestions, the
members would again review the ploes, and take a vote
next meeting.
