LAND USE REQUEST AND REVIEW PROCEDURES: 26.575.130 - Wireless telecommunications services facilities and equipment If a proposed telecommunications equipment upgrade project meets specific review criteria, the application can be reviewed administratively. The application meets the review standards set forth in Section 26.575.130, therefore, the Community Development Director is the final review authority. 26.435.030.B - 8040 Greenline Review Exemption Areas above 8040 feet mean sea level or within one hundred and fifty (150) feet below, when measured horizontally, are subject to heightened review so as to reduce impacts on the natural watershed and surface runoff, minimize air pollution, reduce the potential for avalanche, unstable slope, rockfall and mudslide. If the standards for exemption as outlined in Section 26.435.030.C are satisfied, the Community Development Director may exempt the remodel from 8040 Greenline Review. SUMMARY: The applicant is requesting approval to upgrade the wireless telecommunication antenna on the q monopole located at 500 Doolittle Drive. The applicant proposes to replace six, six-foot-tall panel antenna with I six, eight-foot-tall panel antenna. The proposal does not increase the height ofthe monopole or the panel antenna. The antenna will be set at thirty-five (35) feet, the same height as the existing panels. Three (3) new stabilizer arms will be added to the existing monopole for additional support. Additional remote radio heads (RIU-Is) and, 1 Over Voltage protection (OVPs) devices will be installed. The monopole is designed to look like a coniferous tree in order to match the natural environment. All new equipment will be painted green to match the coniferous tree appearance of the monopole, or shielded by the artificial branches.
