Answering roll call were Steven Buettow, Tim Mooney, Sara Garton, Roger Hunt and Bruce Kerr. Marta Chaikovska, Robert Blaich and Jasmine Tygre were excused. COMMISSIONER COMMENTS There were none. STAFF COMMENTS There were none. PUBLIC COMMENTS There were none. MINUTES JULY 19. 1994 Roger: I move to adopt minutes of July 19, 1994. Sara seconded the motion with all in favor. 520 WALNUT LANDMARK DESIGNATION Bruce opened the public hearing. Amy Amidon, Planning: Made presentation as attached in record. Roger: The lot it is on is 7,000sf? Amy: I think it is only a 6,000--a little less actually. Roger: And that being an annexation what are going to be the rules for expansion because I gather the applicant is going to be moving this structure and putting a gigantic thing around it. Amy: I don't have an application in yet. It is zoned R-6. What I know they are planning to do is to come in and ask to fix the building up and put it on foundation. And I think they will be moving it forward on the lot. There is another great big green building on the lot that used to be a victorian and now it has just been completely changed. I think they are going to tear it down and rebuild. And the idea to keep it totally separate from the historic miner's cottage. I think their new building will be in 1 the range of 2,600sf. ,-, Roger: So they are not going to apply for additional FAR? Or side or back yard setbacks other than for the historic structure? Amy: I don't know that. they are asking for FAR parking. I am not sure. I don't have any reason to believe that bonus. Or any other variances. Maybe Amy then presented the affidavit of posting. (attached in record) MOTION Sara: north Aspen I move to recommend landmark designation of Lot #8 and the half of Lot #9, Block 3, William's Addition to the City of finding that standards B, E and F are met. Bruce asked for public comments. There were none and he closed the public portion of the hearing. Tim seconded the motion with all in favor.
