MINUTES
JULY 19. 1994
Roger:
I move to adopt minutes of July 19, 1994.
Sara seconded the motion with all in favor.
520 WALNUT LANDMARK DESIGNATION
Bruce opened the public hearing.
Amy Amidon, Planning: Made presentation as attached in record.
Roger: The lot it is on is 7,000sf?
Amy: I think it is only a 6,000--a little less actually.
Roger: And that being an annexation what are going to be the rules
for expansion because I gather the applicant is going to be moving
this structure and putting a gigantic thing around it.
Amy: I don't have an application in yet. It is zoned R-6. What
I know they are planning to do is to come in and ask to fix the
building up and put it on foundation. And I think they will be
moving it forward on the lot. There is another great big green
building on the lot that used to be a victorian and now it has just
been completely changed. I think they are going to tear it down
and rebuild. And the idea to keep it totally separate from the
historic miner's cottage. I think their new building will be in
1
the range of 2,600sf.
,-, Roger: So they are not going to apply for additional FAR? Or side
or back yard setbacks other than for the historic structure?
Amy: I don't know that.
they are asking for FAR
parking. I am not sure.
I don't have any reason to believe that
bonus. Or any other variances. Maybe
Amy then presented the affidavit of posting.
