Community Development Department's Comments
Please make the following modifications to the proposed plat:
1. Include a vicinity map.
2. Include a purpose statement on the plat that contains justification for
moving the envelope.
3. Obtain all signatures with the exception of the City Community
Development Director, Community Development Engineer, and
Pitkin County Clerk and Recorder prior to submitting two (2) mylar
copies to the Community Development Department. A recording fee
of $11 (payable to Pitkin County Clerk and Recorders) is due upon
submittal of the mylars.
4. Please submit standard land use application form (can download from
www.aspenpitkin.com), agreement to pay form (can download from
www.aspenpitkin.com), and fee of $546 (payable to City of Aspen)
for review of plat.

September 16th to review the final design for Ryckman, Lot 32 FiveTrees. Per our discussion, I
have listed the items needed to complete the final design review process. Please include this
information with your Final Working Drawings.
• Provide siding color sample on sub straight
• List railing color on application
• Lawn area outside building envelope is not approved- Change on landscape plan
• Trash enclosure must be located within the building envelope
The address marker does not meet the requirements of the Design Guidelines. However, the
marker proposed for lot 32 may be more appropriate for this neighborhood location. I suggest
you appeal to the DRB in support of this address marker.
Architect agreed to stake the proposed trees facing lots 31 and 33 and arrange for a site visit with
the lot owners and the DRB for approval.
