~:00 P.M. to review the bids for. the $200 o0 Electric Light and Power Refunding Bonds.
Present were Councilmen Moore, Newetl and Zordel, City Attorney Stewart and City
Administrator Humphrey. Councilman Bayer was absent.
Attorney Stewart informed Council that puinn and Company had called regarding
their bid on the $200,000 Electric Light and Power Refunding Bonds. The figures on
the bids submitted by Kirchner and Company and by Quinn and Company had been carefully
rechecked, the result, being that Quinn and Company are actually the lowest bidder.
Rejection A motion was made by COuncilman Newell, seconded by Councilman Zordel, to reject
of Kirchner Bid. the bid of Kirchner and Company. Councilmen Newell and Zordel voted "Aye" and Council-
man Moore abstained from voting. The motion carried.
A motion was then made by Councilman Newell, seconded by Councilman Zordel, to
Acceptance gf accept the bid from Quinn and Company - net interest rate 3.13939%, net interest
~uinn Bid. cost $51,800.00 - on the Electric Light and Power Revenue Bonds. Councilmen Newell
and Zordel voted "Aye" and Councilman Moore voted "Nay". The notion carried.
Tel. poles The statement from the Mountain States Tel. and Tel. Co. of $68.50 for telephone
$68.50 poles was reviewed, and. a motion was mad~ by Zordel, seconded by Newell, to suspend
Rule 19 and allow this bill. Motion carried unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:30 PM upon motion by Zordel seconded by Newell, and
carried,
