The special meeting was called to order at 4:05 PM by Mayor Pro-tem McEachern,
d"" with Councilmen Barnard, K~uster and Staple~on, and City Administrator Kerrigmn
! present. Absent was Mayor Pabst.
! Mr. Fred Glidden and Bill James were present regarding off-street parking for
the new library. Discussed - whether City may designate off-street parking;
Library- narrowing Center Street; using west side of Paepcke Park between Main and Hopkins;
off st.parking planning consultant is opposed to suggestions submitted to them by library board.
It, was suggested that this matter first be referred to the Board of Adjust-
ment. A motion was then made by Councilman Barnard, that the City go on record
that sufficient parking could be developed on the west side of Paepcke Park to

Kuster. Roll call vote - Councilmen Stapleton nay; Kuster aye; Barnard
aye. The motion ,carried.
Discussed - Dumpsites.
Glory Hole - water accumulation and drainage discussed.
Mr. Kerrigan reported that the Court has decreed that Lots H and I in
Lots -Paepcke Paepcke Park ar~ owned by the church. Discussed - possible exchange of property.

Discussed - water run-off down Original Street and a mo~ion was made b~
Councilman Stapleton to authorize City Administrator Kerrigan to take bids on
Driginal St. 36 inch pipe for installation down Original Street North to carry the Durant
run-off Mine water. Motion seconded by Councilman Barnard. Roll call vote - Councilmen

Councilman Kuster moved to inform Davis Holder that the City is not ~oing
ahead with Alternate No. ~. Motion was seconded by Councilman Barnard. Roll

Durant Mine Council was in accord on filing on the Durant Mine water.

Barnard, seconded by Councilman Stapleton and carried.
