RESOLUTION NO. 27
Series of 1969
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Aspen, Colorado has approved by Ordinance No. 45,
Series of 1968, certain appropriations for the fiscal year 1969, and
WHEREAS, by reason of unanticipated contingencies and emergencies, there wilt be ~expended
during the calendar year 1969 certain amounts in excess of the budgeted amounts, estimated
to be a total of ~312,792.22, which amount is an adjustment of the total budget for said
fiscal year 1969 and does not exceed the revenues for the said fiscal year 1969 but will
require the transfer by supplimental appropriations from unexpended funs to various account~
of the City the estimated sum of $312,792.22 to specific funds hereinafter stated, and
WHEREAS, in order:'to properly provide for the public health, safety and welfare of the
community, it will be necessary to exceed expenditures apprapiated by said Ordinance No.
45, Series of 1968, in certain funds hereinafter stated,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Aspen, Colorado that. the
following accounts shall be credited by this supplemental appropriations with an increased
amount over and beyond the amount heretoforappropriated.'

The City Council ff the City of Aspen, in the County of Pitkin and State of Colorado, met
in adjourned regular session, in full conformity with law and the ordinances and rules of
the City, at the City Nall, being the.regular meeting place of the Council, on Monday the
29th day of December, 1969, at 11:30 o'clock a.m. MST.
Upon roll call the following were found to be present:

Councilmen: John Benninghoff
Carl Bergman
Clyde Clymer
Werner Kuster
City Clerk: Lorraine Graves
City Treasurer: Bertha Looney
City Administrator: Leon A. Wurl
Absent: None
Thereupon the above proceedings, among others, were had and taken.
Councilman Benninghoff introduced and moved to adoption of this Resolution:

order the same published as provided by law. Seconded by Council~n Bergen. Roll call vote~
Councilmen Bergen aye; Kuster aye; Benninghoff aye; Clymer aye.
Co~cil~n Bergen request Council's thinking as relates to closing Smuggler Street between
Second and Third Streets for sledding. Dick Kienast request this be brough before Council
Co~cil agreed this request should be brougt before the new Council in January.
Co~cil~n Kuster moved to adjourn at 12:40 p.m., seconded by Council~n Clymer. Ail in
favor, meeting adjourned.
