area where dogs can run. Kennel Club in agreement with the ordinance, feel more control
is needed.
Mr, Bruhe Habberly stated he Objected to the law, has two large dogs and to keep them con-
fined and on a leash causes the dogs to become mean.
Mr.~Compton stated it is a matter of training, and owners should run their dogs which
would ta~k~ care of this pro lem. Mr. Callahan stated he has two !a~ge~dogs and he exer-
cises them all the time, do not chain the jogs but do keep them fenced. Dogs should not
be allowed to leaVe ones premises, there are items that are harmful to the jog i~e. de-
tergent containers, etc...
DiScussed the areas that that could be disignated; Mr. Parker stated he would prefer the

DEDICATED LAND FROM ANY OTHER REQUIRED DEDICATIONS" was readby title by th% City Clerk.
Mayor Standley opened the'public hearing. 'Assistant Planner Fred Wooden stated the or-
dinance provides for trail dedications under the subdivision regulations which would be
in addition to the 4% dedications already provided. Mayor Standley closed the public~
hearing.

City Market Plan and memorandum were submitted outlining a request to screen, the area on Original and
Request Cooper in line with the existing planters. Screening would be bolted down and would
sereen the mil'k cases and boxes back there. Screening would be in the public right-of
way~
Councilman Walls moved to grant the request of City Mar'ket. jSeconded by Councilwoman
Pedersen. All in favor, motion carried.
Council agreed to hold a study session next lMonday at 7:00 p.m.
Public city MAnager Campbell~reported dut 0 the f0tlOwong reasons, the restrooms'.are'~to~be~
~Restrooms located on Mill.~treet: (1)accessibility to the~Park; (2) closer to utility connections;
(3) save approxzmately 3 parking spaces in Rubey Park; (4) would not detract from the
beautification of~Rubey p~r~k.
Councilwoman Markalunas stated she felt permission to change the location should have
beck,by CoUncil action. ~ ~
Bicycle Races Mr. john Callahan stated he would like to thank the City for the work that was done for
the races and a special thanks to the s~en Police Department and C~ief Ritchey.
Councilwoman Markalunas moved to adjourn ~ 5:30 p.m., seconded by Councilwoman Pedersen.
