Fee for Tveite and agree with Marty Kahn
that the appropriate amount is $2,035.83.
This includes a $124 plus or minus dedication

The purpose of this letter is to establish the credit
against the dedication fee to which the Tveites are
entitled by virtue of the City of Aspen ad valorem taxes
o t r improvements. I calculate the credit to be
$124.75, based on the figures below.

Deducting $9.68 per year from the taxes paid in 1973
through 1975 equals $124.75.
If you were to prorate taxes to November 22, 1976 based
on 1975 taxes, there would be an additional credit of
$38.06. The ordinance is not clear in this regard.

Subdivision Exemption - Tveite Duplex Condominiumization

This is a request for subdivision exemption by Odd Tveite for an existing
duplex located on Lot 12, Filing I, West Aspen Subdivision. The City
Engineer has no comments.
The Aspen Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the request on
November 9, 1976 and recommended approval subject to payment of
Subdivision Dedication Fees.
The Planning Office recommends approval of the request subject to payment
of the Subdivision Dedication Fees.

APPLICATION FOR
EXEMPTION FROM SUBDIVISION
Odd J. Tveite and Kate Tveite, owners of Lot 12,
Filing 1, West Aspen Subdivision, in the City of Aspen, County of
Pitkin, do hereby apply for exemption from the requirements of
the Aspen, Colorado Subdivision Regulations, except for payment
of the dedication fee. As grounds therefor, applicants state
that they are in the process of dissolution of marriage and that
sale of one-half of the duplex thereon is necessary rationally to
allocate marital property; that granting the exemption will not
be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to other proper-
ty in the area; that the exemption is necessary to enable
Kate Tveite and the Tveite children to enjoy a substantial proper-
ty right, namely to continue to live in Aspen in the other half
of the duplex; that the half to be sold is to be sold to a local
resident; that no-one presently resides in the half to be sold;
that the former resident in the unit to be sold was the real
estate agent who arranged the sale of the subject unit.
The Tveites will pay the dedication fee imposed by the
Subdivision
