Dear James:
In furtherance of the December 6, 2001 Pre-Application conference which Maria Ticsay, Dr.
Whitcomb and myself had with you, you will please find enclosed herewith the following:
1. Copy of City of Aspen Pre-Application Conference.
2. Check in the amount of $460.00 payable to the order of "The City of Aspen Community
Development Department" per the Pre-Application Conference.
3. The applicants names are: Aspen Clinic Building Orthopaedic Group, LLC, a Colorado
Limited Liability Company and Aspen Clinic Building Internal Medicine Group, LLC, also
a Colorado Limited Liability Company. The address of each is: 100 East Main Street,
Aspen, Colorado. The telephone number for Orthopaedic Group is: 927-8611, the contact
person George Trantow. The telephone number for Internal Medicine is: 925-5440, the
contact person is Dr. Barry Mink.
4. This letter shall serve as the Summary Letter. The purpose of the request is to
condominimize the existing constructed Building with each present occupant, i.e.
Orthopaedic Group and Internal Medicine Group to own, as their separate space, the
individual spaces historically occupied by them. We understand the review of this
Application is to be an administrative review by the Planning Director.

Apply. PlamllOf reviews case for complel.eness and sends 10 Engineering and referral agllncies. 2.3 weeks later planner
will contact applicant with the suggeslions from EnginCeTing for preparation of the Final Plat. The applicant's surveyor
makes those changes and brings in 2 reproducible mylar copies to the planner. Planner reviews plat for consistency with
Engineering suggestions and the Director approves, approves with conditions, or denies application based on consistency
with the review criteria and technical considerations. Plat is then signed by City Engineer. Applicant records the final
plat at the County Clerk and Recorder (fee).

Dear James:
In furtherance of the December 6, 2001 Pre-Application conference which Maria Ticsay, Dr.
Whitcomb and myself had with you, you will please find enclosed herewith the following:
I. Copy of City of Aspen Pre-Application Conference.
2. Check in the amount of $460.00 payable to the order of "The City of Aspen Community
Development Department" per the Pre-Application Conference.
3. The applicants names are: Aspen Clinic Building Orthopaedic Group, LLC, a Colorado
Limited Liability Company and Aspen Clinic Building Internal Medicine Group, LLC, also
a Colorado Limited Liability Company. The address of each is: 100 East Main Street,
Aspen, Colorado. The telephone number for Orthopaedic Group is: 927-8611, the contact
person George Trantow. The telephone number for Internal Medicine is: 925-5440, the
contact person is Dr. Barry Mink.
4. This letter shall serve as the Summary Letter. The purpose of the request is to
condominimize the existing constructed Building with each present occupant, i.e.
Orthopaedic Group and Internal Medicine Group to own, as their separate space, the
individual spaces historically occupied by them. We understand the review of this
Application is to be an administrative review by the Planning Director.

8. The building, having been built in the early 1960s required no prior approval. There is a

I would ask that this matter be processed expeditiously as the parties are anxious to wrap this
transaction up.

Apply. PlanmlT reviews case for compleleness and sends to Engineering and referral agencies. 2-3 wecks later planner
will contact applicant with the suggestions from Engineering for preparation of the Final Plat. 111e applicant's surveyor
makes those changes and brings in 2 ~produeible mylar copies to the planner. Planner reviews plat for consistency with
Engineering suggestions and tIle Director approves, approves with conditions, or denies application based on consistency
with the review criteria and technical considerations. Plat is then signed by City Engineer. Applicant records the final
plat at the County Clerk and Recorder (fee).
