To whom it may concern,
This letter is intended to officially amend the application to the Saturday Market for
Cloud Nine Brownies. The purpose ofthis amended application is to inform the city
about additional items that Cloud Nine Brownies wishes to sell at their booth this
summer. The additional items, will all be prepackaged and sealed, and are intended for
home consumption. The additional items include: Bottled sauces (different varieties of
Chocolate and Caramel), Truffles, and hot cocoa powdered mixes. All of these products
will be manufactured by Cloud Nine brownies in Aspen, and will endeavor to use
Colorado ingredients when ever those ingredients can be found in sufficient quality,
quantity, and at a price that will make our products affordable for the consumer. The
general retail price for these items should all run $8- $15 each, with the final price to be
determined when we are closer to the start of the market.
We apologize that we needed to amend our application to the city rather than adding all
of this information originally. There was confusion on our part about our status with
regards to the market, and we originally believed that we needed to clear this matter with
the Farmers before presenting it to the city.
If you have any more questions, please contact Jim or Jill Pomeroy at 925-2549, or at
aspenpomla1cloudninebrownies.com.
Sincerely,
Jim and Jill Pomeroy

Subject: update
K , following up post meeting/its obvious how whether its growers or producers how we feel having say
what foods should fall under which org.from its inception we have, since there is overlapping
particularly wlmanufacturers why we feel that the farmers may identify those foodsl
vendors an asset or not...non the less thanx for your being present heat or no heat!
secondly my being a part of the market since the 2nd yr. was based upon the fact I personally produced
100% of my product while also selling it myself as well. I have always made it a priority and business
move to utilize as much as possible(2/3)
if not more of my flavors I offered were western colo based fruits. and yes to this day continue to raise
my own bees. this is how I began my business 30 yrs. ago I began raising bees with hometown honey
(roy rakich) the first and only beekeeper at the mkt. So for 14 yrs. I kept bees commercially and spread
to utilizing my own honey to use in my sorbets and ice-cream.
I continue to take pride in myself that I maintain in a large part a beginning to end product. thusly feel
quite strongly since I was invited to participate by the farmers, since I WAS using a local farm product
and recognized myself as a Beekeeper first, ice-man second(that has since changed).
Consequently Kathy you can see my request to remain within the farmers group. By the way the first
name I chose for my bizz. was Honey Bee Ice Cream Co. any way thanks for your ear' hope your
enjoying your trip!!
ps yes I will help wi barriers' J1
