AN ORDINANCE REZONING TO LODGE PRESERVATION (L-3) THE EAST ONE-
HALF OF LOTS E AND O, AND ALL OF LOTS F, G, H, I, P, Q, R and S,
BLOCK 58, CITY AND TOWNSITE OF ASPEN, ALSO KNOWN AS 110 WEST MAIN
STREET
WHEREAS, the Aspen Group, Inc. are owners of real property
located in the City of Aspen, commonly known as 110 West Main
Street and more specifically described as follows:
The East one-half of Lots E and O, and all of Lots F, G, H,
I, P, Q, R and S, Block 58, City and Townsite of Aspen
and
WHEREAS, Aspen Group, Inc., as owners of the aforesaid real
property have requested that a correction be made in an earlier
rez~ning action to L-3 which omitted a portion of this property;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 24-12.3 of the Municipal Code of
the City of Aspen, Colorado, the Aspen Planning and Zoning Commis-
sion agreed to sponsor this rezoning; ~
WHEREAS, at a public hearing on August 7, 1984, the Plannin-
and Zoning Commlission did review the requested rezoning and then
did recomraend to the Aspen City Council the rezoning of the east
one-half of Lots E and O, Block 58, so that the entire parcel
described above will be zoned "Lodge Preservation (L-3)".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
The Zoning District Map of the City of Aspen referenced in
Section 24-2.2 of the Municipal Code is hereby amended by rezoning
to "Lodge Preservation (L-3)" that property commonly known as 110
West Main Street, more specifically described as follows:

The East one-half of Lots E and O, and all of Lots G, F, H,
I, P, Q, R and S, Block 58, City and Townsite of Aspen.
The above described real property shall be subject to those
zoning regulations applicable to the "Lodge Preservation (L-3)"
zone district as descrbied in Chapter 24 of the Municipal Code of
the City of Aspen, as now exists or may hereafter be amended.
Section 2
The City Engineer is hereby directed to amend the Zoning
District Map consistent with the requirements of the Municipal
Code and as described in Section 1 above.
Section 3
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or
portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or
unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions thereof.
Section 4
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the~
day of ~~ , 1984, at 5:00 p.m. in the
City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado, fifteen
(15) days prior to which hearing notice of the same shall be
published once in a newspaper of general circulation within the
City of Aspen.
