AN ORDINANCE RECOGNIZING GENERAL FUND REVENUE OF $85,000; REVERSING
A TRANSER OF $85,000 FROM THE REVENUE SHARING FUND TO THE
GENERAL FUND; RECOGNIZING LAND FUND REVENUE OF $9,000; APPROPRIATING
LAND FUND EXPENDITURES OF $9,000; APPROPRIATING ELECTRIC FUND
EXPENDITURES OF $18,000;REDUCING REVENUE SHARING FUND REVENUE OF
$85,000; APPROPRIATING EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT FUND EXPENDITURES OF
$25,000; APPROPRIATING ASSET REPLACEMENT FUND EXPENDITURES OF
$33,100;
WHEREAS, by virtue of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule Charter,
the City Council may make supplemental appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has
unappropriated current year revenues available for appropriation
in the General Fund; Land Fund;Electric Fund; Revenue Sharing
Fund; and Employee Retirement Fund; and unappropriated prior year
fund balance available in the Asset Replacement Fund;
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain expenditures,
revenues and transfers musk be approved, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are current
year revenues available for appropriation in the General Fund,
Land Fund, Electric Fundt Revenue Sharing Fund, and Employee
Retirement Fund, and prior year fund balance available for
appropriation in the Asset Replacement Fund, the City Council
hereby makes supplemental appropriations as itemized in Exhibit
"A" attached.
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or
portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or
unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portion thereof.
Section 3
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the
day of ~~. , 1984, at 5:00 p.m. in the
City Council Chamber, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
