Aspen Planning & Zoning
October 9, 1968
Meeting was called to order by Chairman William Tharp at 8:30 a.m. with
the following members present: Mayor Robert Barnard, Councilman John
Benninghoff and George Heneghan.
Purpose of the meeting was to consider plans for building review.
BUIID ING REVIEW
Plans for remodeling of a residence in the AR-l zone were submitted. It
was pointed out the permit calls for an addition which is not shown on the
plans. Commission agreed to table the plans for further clarrification
from the applicant.
Luhnow - Apartments, 6 Units

It was pointed out Mr. Luhnow had been before the Board of Adjustment, who
determined it would not be necessary for Mr. Luhnow to obtain a variance.
Commission reviewed the plans and found all other requirements had been met.
Barnard made a motion to recommend approval of the plans to the building
inspector. Seconded by Benninghoff. Roll call vote - Heneghan abstain;
Tharp aye; Barnard aye; Benninghoff aye.
30 Unit Lodge - Cooper Avenue
Commission reviewed plans, all in order.

Aspen Ski Corporation - Underground st0rage tanks
Commission agreed to wait for the legal opinion on this before making a
decision.
Ullr Lodge - Remodeling
Section of the lounge to be used for a bath and bedroom. Plans in order.
Heneghan made a motion to recommend approval of the plans to the building
inspector. Seconded by Barnard. Roll call vote - Barnard aye; Benninghoff
aye; Tharp aye; Heneghan aye.
Little Red Ski Hostel - Porch
Commission reviewed plans, all in order. Heneghan made a motion to recommenc
approval of the plans to the building inspector. Seconded by Barnrd.
Roll call vote - Heneghan aye; Tharp aye; Benninghoff aye; Barnard aye.
Barnard made a motion to adjourn at 9:00 a.m., seconded by Benninghoff.
All in favor, meeting adjourned.
