Regular Meeting Aspen Planning & Zoning January 11, 1967 Meeting was called to order by Chairman Francis Whitaker at 5:05 p.m. Members present: Chairman Francis Whitaker Mayor Robert Barnard Jack Walls Tom Benton Sam Lum ELECTION OF OFFICERS Chairman - Jack Walls made a motion to nominate Tom Bentonas Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission. Seconded by Mayor Barnard. All in favor, motion carried. Vice Chairman - Mayor Barnard made a motion to nominate Francis Whitaker as Vice Chairman. Seconded by Sam Lum. All in favor, motion carried. Secretary - Mayor Barnard made a motion to nominate Jack Walls as Secretary to the Commission. Seconded by Tom Benton. Mayor Barnard aye; Francis Whitaker nay; Sam Lum aye; Tom Benton aye. Motion carried. Lorraine Graves as Recording Secretary. Councilman McEachern arrived. BUILDING REVIEW Aspen Auto Supply - Accessory Building for Storage Garage Plans were reviewed by the Commission. Incomplete. Francis Whitaker made a motion to return the plans to the Building Inspector with a report that they are not complete and do not conform with the requirements for approval by the Commission. Seconded by Jack Walls. All in favor, motion carried. MOUNTAINEER Mr. Whitaker stated he felt the Mountaineer had not complied with the Commissions request to remove the old buildings and provide off street parking as per the Commissions request in the Minutes of May 25, 1965. Mr. Whitaker made a motion this be referred to the Building Inspector for investigation and report back to the Commission at the next regular meeting. Seconded by Mayor Barnard. All in favor, motion carried. HANS GRAMIGER Not present. CONTINUED PLANNING CONTRACT Jack Walls stated he had talked to Jim Miles of the State Agency and all planning applications have been turned back by Fort Worth. Proposed contract with Jerry Brown for continued planning will probably be processed within the next 30 days. This type of project will probably be given top priority. r ~. BY-LAWS Mr. Whitaker stated the by-laws should be reviewed and changed due to change in meeting time. Councilman McEachern to handle. Mayor Barnard made a motion to adjourn at 5:35 p.m. seconded by Jack Walls. All in favor, motion carried.
