CITY OF ASPEN PLANNING AND ZONING
Special meeting March 29, 1966 at 4:42 P.M.
Meeting called to order at 4:Q2 P.M.
Those members present: Benton, Whitaker, McEachern, Woodward,
Walls.
Discussion on the Vagabond Lodge Drawings for the location
of a shed and addition there too.
Lots P,Q,R,S plus 18' of a vacated street in Block 118.
Motion was made by Benton that the drawings be approved
subject to 10 foot setback for the new building and that
the B new parking places be made a part of the plot plan.
A letter was read dated March 26, 1966, from the Aspen
Associates.
Motion was made by Walls that the Planning and Zoning Com-
mission hold another Public Hearing on the Aspen Area Master
Plan, to be held April 4th, at 8:00 P.M. Seminar Building
or County Courtroom whichever is available.
Motion seconded by Benton. Discussion; Motion carried.
Discussion followed with Jerry Brown:
1. Master Street Plan
2. small lot problem in Williams and Hallam Addition (25
ft. lots) Should there be an R-7 or R-7~ Zone?
Jerry suggests that they drop minimum lot widith in
R-6 Zone to 25 feet.
3. Definition of a Restaurantw in ~ourist District shall
conduct business in a building.
4. Parking-Problem will not be solved through any Ordin-
ance change.
5. Density of Dwelling Units. Multiple use in the Busi-
ness district is desirable.
