RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS
MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING ASPEN PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
October 26, 1965
Present were: Walls, Benton, Whitaker
Aspen Alps, Letter from Aspen Construction Corporation read and
plot plans resubmitted. Moved by Benton, that plans be
approved, subject to submission of a corrected plan showing
sufficient parallel parking spaces. Seconded by Whitaker.
Motion carried.
Alice Baker-Chalet Durant, East 8 feet of Lot M, Lots N, 0, and
West 13 feet of Lot P, Block 37. Revised plans submitted
and discussed. Moved by Benton that drawings as corrected
regarding balcony exits be approved. Seconded by Whitaker.
Motion carried.
Mary
The Westerner, Block 51, Lots K,L,M and 1/2 of N. Plans for
Plans for. _addition submitted. Moved by Whitaker that plans
be approved contingent on three parking spaces being pro-
vided on Lot G, Block 44. Seconded by Benton. Motion
carried.
Aspen Laundry, Block 81, Lot A,B,C. Moved by Benton that plans
be approved. Seconded by Whitaker. Motion carried.
It was moved by Whitaker that a draft on the proposed T-l Zone
be an additional recommendation on the Zoning of the Aspen
Institute property, and that the Aspen Company R-15 subdivision
be zoned R-15. Seconded by Benton. Motion carried.
Letter regarding tree planting spaces read. Chairman Walls will
review previous proposals for sidewalk planting.
Walls moved that a letter to the Building Inspector be written,
that all future plans submitted for Building Review be checked
in advance against memorandum stating requirements, before plans
go to building review. No second-but lots of discussion~
Meeting adjourned at 10:50 P.M.
