CITY OF ASPEN PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING SEPTEMBER 22, 1964 The meeting was called to order at 7:45 P.M. Present were: Jack Walls, Chairman, Richard Lai, Francis Whitaker, Henry Thurston. 1. Addition to Chart House. Lot P, Block 96. It was moved by Mr. Whitaker that the addition be approved, subject to complete plot plan and drawings required be submitted before issuance of a building permit. Motion seconded by Mr. Lai. Motion carried. 2. Lots 1 and 2, Ute Avenue, Ute Addition to City of Aspen. The Commission requests an accurate scale drawing of the property and location of building and access from Ute Avenue. Mr. Walls moved this be approved, subject to the above requirements. Motion seconded by Mr. Lai. Motion carried. Mr. Thurston, Building Inspector, reports that while rights-of- way widths are esteblished, street widths, sidewalk widths and curb loca- tions are not established in most of City. J. Lots 0 and P, Block 69, Addition of 5 units. Approved by Mr. Lai, and seconded by Mr. Walls, subject to clarification of parking area on Cooper Street. 4. Lots M and N, Block 40. New Building. Approval moved by Mr. Lai, seconded by Mr. Whitaker. Motion carried. 5. Lots 0, P and Q, Block 76. 19 unit addition to Limelite Lodge. Moved by Mr. Whitaker that the owners provide documentary evidence that more than 50% of the surface area of the block was covered by buildings at the time of the passage of the Ordinance. Motion seconded by Mr. Lai. Motion carried. 6.. Lots A, B and C, Block 112. Highway 182 and Original Street. Viking Apartments. Approval moved by Mr. Lai, and seconded by Mr. Whitaker. Motion carried. 7. Discussion of information sheet to be sent to contractors, architects and realtors. Moved by Mr. Lai that the information sheet be approved and adopted by the Commission as official procedure. Motion seconded by Mr. Whitaker. Motion carried. 8.
