SUMMARY OF PU'Br.IC MEETn~G HELD AT THE REQUEST OF THE
CITY OP ASPilll PLANNING COMMISSION AT TdE BAMBOO ROOM,
HOTEL J~OME. F~JRUARV 13, 1956. at 7:30 P. M.
All members of tho Planning Cornm.tl!!sinn were present
~nd about fifty (50) people frc~ the Adpen a~ea were prosent.
Michael Gsrrish. temporary chairman of the nanning
Corr.mission, c'1nducted the meeting. Mr. Garrish made it clear
to the group prosont that the purpoce of the meeting was to
gather infor~tion respecting the problems of the Ctty of
A~pen. and feeling as to those deserving priority, He explained
personalities were not to onter into tho business of the meeting.
At the request of ':I'. Gnrrlsh, Mr. Stewart, City Attorney,
briefly explained the purposes of the Planning Commillsi'1u as definod
by the City resolutions and the laws of Colorado.

A resolution wa drafted by a committee c'1nsisting of Nate feinsinger,
Roy Reid, l1enry Stein, Sam Caudill, and p~t Hen1'y, ap;?r1intod fer that
purpose. T~e resolution was proposed by Nate Feinsinger, sec0nded by
Edgar Stanton and pa~sed by a majority of those present. (a copy of
the resolution is attechtld berato).

days of the present meeting.
