HomeMy WebLinkAboutordinance.council.013-01 ORDINANCE NO. 1._~3 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING GENERAL FUND EXPENDITURES OF $245,120; TRANSFERING $5,000 FROM CENTRAL SAVINGS TO PUPPY SMITH: TRANSFERRING $200,000 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO AFFORDABLE HOUSING/DAYCARE FUND: TRANSFERRING $4,000 FROM GENERAL FUND, City COUNCIL; TO WI-i~ELER FUND: APPROPRIATING ELECTRIC FUND EXPENDITURES OF $29,450; APPROPRIATING PARKING/GARAGE FUND EXPENDITURES OF $14,381; APPROPRIATING HOUSING/ DAYCARE FUND EXPENDITURES OF $146,138; APPROPRIATING PARKS & OPEN SPACE EXPENDITURES OF $1,489,030; APPROPRIATING WHEELER FUND EXPENDITURS OF $188,014; APPROPRIATING RUEDI FUND EXPENDITURES OF $45,850. WHEREAS, by virtue of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule Charter, the City Council may make supplemental appropriations: and WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has unappropriated current year revenues and/or unappropriated prior year fund balance available for appropriation the General fund. ParkS & Open space Fund. Wheeler Fund. Affordable Housing/Daycare Fund. Water Fund, Electric Fund. Transportation/Parking Fund, and golf Fund. WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain expenditures, revenues and transfers must be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN,COLORADO: Section 1 Upon the City Manager's certification that there are current year revenues and/or prior year fund balance available for appropriation in the General Fund, Parks & Open Space Fund, Wheeler Fund, Affordable Housing/Daycare Fund, Water Fund Parking Improvement Fund, Electric Fund, Transportation/Parking Fund, Red Brick Capital Project Fund and Golf Fund: the City Council hereby makes supplemental appropriations as itemized in Exhibit "1", Exhibit "2". Section 2 If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion thereof. Section 3 A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the 14~' of May, 2001 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
