MINUTES OF MAY 5, 2010
Chairperson, Terry Butler called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.
Commissioners in attendance: Bill Dinsmoor. and Fred Ayarza. John Starr,
Andrew Kole, Don Sheeley, Mark Goodman and Mark Zitelli, were
excused.
Staff: Kathy Strickland, Chief Deputy Clerk
Bill said at the next meeting we will discuss the Wheeler expansion and give
CCLC's opinion as to whether it is needed or more information is needed.
Terry mentioned that council needs to have someone figure out how to
collect data from hotels as to who reserved rooms for specific special events.
Bill said Andrew went to the fire department board regarding the Red Onion.
Some of the board members wanted to look further into the situation of the
center but the majority agreed with Ed VanWalraven. We need to know the
policies of the Fire Department. City Council makes the final decision on
alfresco dining.
