MINUTES OF JUNE 16.2010
Bill Dinsmoor called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. Commissioners in
attendance were: Fred Ayarza, Andrew Kole, Don Sheeley and Mark Zitelli.
Terry Butler, Mark Goodman, and John Starr were excused.
Kathy went over the budget.
Saturday Market Bags: Staff said the back side of the bags will have the
ZGreen logo.
Bill asked if ZGreen could contribute to the purchase of the bags since we
are advertising for them.
Don said hotels and motels in Aspen will purchase the bags and distribute
them to their guests to use at the market. Don said he and Bill will contact
Limelight and the Little Nell for distribution.
The board discussed the fire lane on Cooper and Hyman. Andrew pointed
out that each mall has a different configuration.
Don said Nori's store that sells oriental rugs is displaying their rugs outside
his business on the mall bricks.
Staff said she would contact the zoning officer, Claude Saulter.
Don also pointed out that there are sandwich boards everywhere. Staff said
the Planning and Zoning Commission is currently discussing the sign code.
The board requested someone come to the July meeting to discuss the rules
and regulations on sandwich boards.
Don said he feels Mustang is out too far in the middle of the mall. Don
requested information as to what was approved by the liquor board.
MOTION: Fred moved to approve the budget and purchase of the market
bags; second by Bill. All in favor, motion carried.
