As I am familiar with the use of the basement of the Plum
Tree, I can certify that there has been no change in the use from
its previous activity to the one proposed.

Attached ate the p&oposed plans Son the nemodehtng os the basement
area os the Ptun Tnee Inn. We would £Mze to convent this area into
a health spa, .inceud.ing a whixtpoot bath, mess and women4 shown and
sauna nooms, and vati.ous weight con kol and body .improvement machines.
We wit!. catpet the entite area with top quality canpeti.ng, m.irnan
a,U exposed watts and add wood paneY..i.ng in the dnessd.ng nooms; ate
at out expense and they wile nema.ui in the building showed we vacate
the lease. At out expense we Hitt .install the wh.ucepool and weight
machine, haweve c, these w.i t remain out pnopetty and will be removed
at such time as the lease is tenm.i,nated .
The health chub wi.2e be avaitab.ee, at no charge, to any negisteked
guests os the Plum Tnee Inn and to Plum Tnee Inn emptoyees.
We hope that these .improvements w.i,e2 benestt both ourselves and
the City os Aspen. (U.ith this idea in mind, we also wi,P.e band in
a wood cvicea in the goon Son use by ba let and dance .insttuctons
and pupia, in expectation that this Saci2,ity will be used by those
people p'actici.ng Son the local plays and theatrical productions.
