Mayor Ireland called the meeting to order at 4:35 PM with Councilmembers Torre, Frisch,
Skadron and Johnson present.
ORDINANCE #26, SERIES OF 2011— Bond Refinancing
Don Taylor, finance director, told Council this is a refunding of a 2003 bond issue. The bonds
garnered a lower interest rate between 2.5 and 1.9 %. The final maturity is in 2017.
Mayor Ireland opened the public hearing. There were no comments. Mayor Ireland closed the
public hearing.
Councilman Johnson moved to adopt Ordinance #26, Series of 2011, on second reading;
seconded by Councilman Frisch. Roll Call vote; Councilmembers Johnson, yes; Skadron, yes;
Torre, yes; Frisch, yes; Mayor Ireland, yes. Motion carried.
Councilman Skadron moved to adjourn at 4:38 PM; seconded by Councilman Torre. All in
favor, motion carried.
