Eames Addition, Lot 3 and the West 22 feet of

Lot 11, Block 9, Eames Addition, with all
improvements and appurtenances, including,
but not limited to, an easement 42 feet in width
upon, across and lying in portions of Lots 10,
and 4, Block 9, and a portion of Lot 12, Block 8
of said Eames Addition.

Willoughby Park was donated to the City of Aspen in April 1971 for park and
other municipal purposes. It is approximately 38,290 square feet entailing the
city’s vacation of the alley in Block 10, Eames addition.
Ordinance No. 37, 1974, designated the lift No. 1 bullwheel and first and third
towers as historic. It was formerly known as Lift One Park but was renamed
Willoughby Park because of the outstanding contributions of the Willoughby
family to the City of Aspen. Members of the Willoughby Family were
instrumental in founding the Aspen Ski Club and in establishing the lift systems
which allowed Aspen to become a world Ski center.
