REGULAR MEETING COMMERCIAL CORE & LODGING COMMISSION JANUARY 16, 2019
Chairperson Steve Fante opened the meeting at 8:32 a.m.
Commissioners in attendance: Charles Cunniffe, Bill Dinsmoor, Amanda Tanaka, Jeb Ball, Angi Wang, Kiki
Raj, Terry Butler, Steve Fante.
Staff present:
Nicole Henning, Deputy City Clerk
Other attendees: Market Manager, Kathy Strickland
COMMISSIONER COMMENTS:
The board collectively agreed to wait on voting in the new chair and vice chair until after the market
selections have been made.
Ms. Wang entered the meeting.
NEW BUSINESS:
Ms. Strickland went over the vendors that are not returning. She said that Chris Stoner would not be
returning as there were no bees. Nieslanic would not be returning as there was no water, no hay, etc.
Colby June would not be returning either.
She mentioned two vendors which were in question: resort books, which never sent any product or
pictures and Pergande Gallery since they never cleared up their dispute with their customer. Mr. Osur
informed us that the credit card company finally gave the customer her money back because they got
tired of dealing with Ms. Pergande.
Ms. Raj entered the meeting.
Scoring of the Saturday Market vendors commenced.
Saturday Market selections will reconvene on January 23rd.
MOTION: Mr. Fante motioned to adjourn at 10:30 a.m., Ms. Wang seconded. All in favor, motion
carried.
