MOTION: Siam moved to approve the minutes of April Yd second by Bill. All in favor, motion carried. William— Sports Medicine 616 E Hyman. Kathy suggested having angled parking to get more spaces. Don said Andy Hecht said they would be out the end of May. Engineering gave them an encroachment. We have lost 46 spaces. Kelly said they need more space west. Don said you can't go past the sidewalk according to the o ask fora t. You want another 15 feet toward the Wheeler. We would have from the fire department. Bill said this diagram is not to scale. Don said he doesn't have a problem but the fire department might. Kelly said they want to move the bar to the other end. Bill said they want three or more tables. Kathy said no amplified music is allowed. Don said everything needs to be out of the mall by 11:00 p.m. Bill made the motion to approve Finbarr's conditioned on the approval of the fire department; second Riley Motion carried 5-0. Michael from the meatball shack said he would like his space to 21 x 28. They tried it at an angle last year but it didn't work. I would also lik e a Kathy said carts are not permitted. Bill said the umbrellas need to be behind the licensed premises. Dan said we can work it out on site. Motion: Bill made the motion to approve The Meatball Shack, second by Riley. All in favor, motion carried. White House Tavern - Dan Reynolds, attorney from Garfield and Hecht the company. representing the applicant. Sarah Feely—human resources Dan said they will have fencing and flowers. Tony said we might have sight concerns. Site concerns are 35 feet roughly. 2 COMMERCIAL CORE & LODGING C OMMISSION MINUTES OF APRIL 1 Motion: Riley moved to approve White House Tavern and the owners favor, mot onith Tony from engineering for a new diagram; second by Siam. All in carried. La Creperie du village —Raphael said we have no changes at all. We took over some tables from elevation and will use them. Tony pointed out that the heaters started cluttering the sidewalk. Raphael ael said the plants are dead and they will be removed and the umbrellas will be taller. Riley made the motion to approve LeCreperie second by Terry. All in favor, motion carried. Ryan Sweeney —Ryno's Ryan talked about angling the east and west and coming out to the comer.t w�La Y said they aren't clear on the request. Ryan said he will come ac y new diagram. Steak house 316 — Craig Cordtes Pearce said second by Siam. All in Riley made the motion to approve the Steak House 316, favor, motion carried. Above the salt Craig Cordtes Pearce said they might want less space. Craig ake the wagon going nd move UPC to request a trellis and fix the co patio the Salt gets a patio t at is smaller. it closer to the Wild Fig. If that happen We won't need as much space and will have more walking room for pedestrians. Bill said he wants them to come back May 11 with a diagram. Peaches —David said they have no changes. If we can use Galena we will come back. MOTION: Terry moved to approve Peaches second by Riley. All in favor, motion carried. Walt Harris, Ute City. Walt said they have no change and are getting new furniture. 3 COMMERCIAL CORE & LODGING COMMISSION MINUTES OF APRIL 171 2013 Tony said they need to meet the standards this year regarding the sidewalk etc. MOTION: Bill moved to approve Ute City second by Riley. All in favor, motion carried. Craig pointed out that the Parks Department shouldn't be planting crab apple trees because they attract the bears. MOTION: Don moved to adjourn; second by Bill.
