At the time, a one car garage was very common and sufficient. I currently have two cars and I am forced to park one car on the main road. The homeowners of the subdivision would like to get the car off the road and into a garage which would be partially hidden from view of the street. Finally, there is no other location on the lot where the setback would allow for a garage.
