We discussed with you the possibility of requesting a change in the minimum lot area in the Office zone but you thought that the variance request is a better alternative and something the Planning Office can support. MOTION: Don made the motion that theHPC grant conceptual development to the proposed office bulding at 702 W. Main st. with the following conditions: 1) that the blind dormers on the northern portion of the building be either restudied or removed to simplify the architectural scheme. 2) as an addition recommendation we recommend to the Boa that demolition of the non contribution structure on the side be allowed to fasciliate redevelopment of the site. and also that the boas grant a reversiang of the side yard setbacks that the easterly side yarda be reduced fivea feaet and the west side yarad incarease 6.66 feet. The variance be granted for the use in the office zone is appropriate. variance fosr tahe reversal of the side yard setback is appropriate. Second by Roger.
