All persons affected by the proposed variance are invited to appear and state their vieHs, protests or objections. If you cannot appear personally at such meeting, then you are urged to state your views by letter, particularly if you have objection to such variance, as the Board of Adjustment will give serious con- sideration to the opinions of surrounding property owners and others affected in deciding whether to grant or deny the request for variance. T .....-...., ',."",,, EXHIBIT "B" APPEAL TO THE BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT THE Zoning Ordinance, designed for the normal Aspen City Lot, does not provide a base point for building height measurement that is applicable to this large, irreg- ular tract because it lacks the usual street frontage. Neighboring building sites in the vicinity have used or will use the center line of Monarch Street as their base point for building height measurement, as specified in the Zoning Ordinance. In accordance, it is requested that a variance be granted allowing the projection of the center line of Monarch Street, through this property, be designated as the basis for determining building heights on this tract of land, ,(See accompanying plat.)
