Funding: The City paid the sum of Three Million Thirty Six Thousand
Seven Hundred Fifty Eight Dollars
Description:
The golf course was purchased in 1971. The purchase included the
golf course, Plumtree ballfield, Happy Hearth Inn/Red Roof Inn (now
Truscott Housing). TOT LOT PARK, Maroon Creek Park, Bugsy Bernard
Park and the Parks and Golf offices and maintenance areas.
Tot Lot Park includes picnic tables, basketball courts and a playground
area.
