All persons affected by the proposed variance are invited to appear and state their views, protests or objections. The encroachment already exists on the ground level and in my opinion will have no significant impacts on the roof level. The efforts of the Community and the pending Aspen Area Community Plan have been to encourage families such as this to remain in the upper valley. This insignificant variance request will further the ability of the Hack/ Ames family to remain in the Community by providing additional usable space on their property. Truly minor variances such as this, which can add to the quality of life of our community members and help support their efforts to remain in the community, should be supported. When this property was improved the zoning allowed the existing setbacks. Now,a very constrained site such as this one has few options for improvements. I believe that this is a creative design approach and that our surrounding neighborhood will benefit due to its construction. sincerelX, I e.w Cindy Houbeh, neighbor 211 midland park BOARD MEMBERS: FYI CINDY HOUBEN IS ONE OF THE 3 HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS IN OUR PLANNING DEPARTMENT.
