MINUTES OF JANUARY 21 2015
Chairperson, Riley'Rippet called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.
Commissioners in attendance were Don Sheeley, Kiki Raj, Terry Butler and
Bill Dinsmoor. Siam Castillo and Fred Ayarza were absent.
Minutes: Don moved to approve the minutes of January 7, 2015; second by
Riley. All in favor, motion carried.
Commissioner Comments:
Bill said CCLC should encourage Winter Skol to be modified. Possibly get
Winter Skol involved with Gay Ski Week and have a Gay Ski Week Parade
through down. Winter Skol's ice sculptures were not effective.
Terry said the ice sculptures were sad.
Bill said Breckenridge has an international ice sculpture show.
Riley said there were two ice sculptures.
Bill suggesting having a contest for the parade.. Should we as a community
be supporting Winter Skol.
Don said he is concerned about the bus stop at the gondola, the Galena Street
Shuttle near Pomeroy sports. It is dangerous. Don asked that an e-mail be
sent to Dan Blankenship: Maybe the shuttle should be moved toward Ruby
Park.
The CCLC selected vendors in the Saturday Market.
MOTION: Riley moved to adjourn; secondo by Don. All in favor, motion
carried.
