11:15 AM Call to Order:
• Approval of minutes from last meeting
11:30 AM City Council:
• Chad Schmidt completed his interview with Aspen City Council. Thank you, Chad, for your
commitment to the Kids First mission and goals. We look forward to your continued
participation within the Kids First Advisory Board.
• Kids First staff will present the 2024 Compass and Budget to Council on October 17 th
11:45 PM Updates:
• Kids First Advisory Board Tour of Schools for October 17 (in place of a regular KFAB
meeting). Tentative Agenda:
o 8:30 - Yellow Brick visit the 3 childcare programs in the Yellow Brick Building
o 9:30 - Quick portable breakfast and take a van to AABC and CMC Little Steps College
o 10:30 - Visit Growing Years School in Basalt
o 11:45 - Visit the Cottage at ASD
o Back to Aspen, lunch at YB

• Inservice - venue and speaker
