Discussion items:
Winter Pass Updates: New winter facility pass is on sale in December for $299. Marketing efforts
are in progress with the school district and Aspen Skiing Company.
86 sold as of December 6th.
Events: Santa is coming to the Aspen Recreation Center on December 20th, 11 am-3 pm. The Aspen
Skating Competition enrollment was affected by some weather challenges. Many participants
brought family members during the successful event, and they enjoyed town activities. AJH winter
classic game is coming up with former Avalanche players.
Program, Project, and Facility Updates:
The concession vendor has been selected and is excited to start operations.
Financial:
The current recovery rate is 45 as of December 6th, and 22 thousand dollars from meeting the
budgeted revenue. The 2023 budget is approved. Supplementals for increased costs in utilities are
approved as well.
