Mayor Bennett called the special meeting of the Aspen City Council and Board of
County Commissioners to order at 12:20 p.m. with Councilmembers Vickery and
Paulson, and Commissioners Ireland, Lamont, Harper, Ferris, and Tuite present.
Ireland moved to go into executive session at 12:20 p.m.; seconded by Harper. All
in favor, motion carried.
Councilman Vickery moved to go into executive session for the purpose of
discussion real property acquisition; seconded by Councilman Paulson. All in favor,
motion carried.
Councilman Vickery moved to come out of executive session at 1:35 p.m.; seconded
by Councilman Paulson. All in favor, motion carried.
Ireland moved to come out of executive session; seconded by Harper. All in favor,
motion carried.
JOINT RESOLUTION #1, SERIES OF 1997 - Endorsing with Conditions the
Preferred Alternative Selected by CDOT for the Entrance to Aspen
Ferris moved to approve Joint Resolution #1, Series of 1997 for Pitkin County;
seconded by Harper. All in favor, motion carried.
Councilman Paulson moved to approve Joint Resolution #1, Series of 1997, for the
City of Aspen; seconded by Councilman Vickery. All in favor, motion carried.
Councilman Paulson moved to adjourn the Council meeting at 1:40 p.m.; seconded
by Councilman Vickery. All in favor, motion carried.
