AN ORDINANC E APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A VEHIC LE LEASE
BE'lWEEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN AND STEVINSON CHEVROLET, INC. WHICH
LEASE IS FOR A TERM OF THIRTY-S IX (36) MONTHS AND PROVIDES FOR A
MONTHL Y RENTAL FA YMENT OF $264. 71
WHEREAS, the City Council is required, by reason of Section
10.8 of the hane rule charter, to ratify all long-term rental
agreements by ordinance, and it wishes to do so with respect to
such outstanding agreement between the City of Aspen and Stevinson
Chev rol et, Inc.
NGi, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNC IL OF
THE CITY OF AS PEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That it does hereby ratify and approve that vehicle lease
agreement between the City of Aspen and Stevinson Chevrolet, Inc.
providing for the leasing of a 1986 Chevrolet pickup, M:>del
#CK10903, Serial Nunber 1GCEK1414HOGJ162219, under the following
term sand cond it ions:
Term of rental: 36 months
Mo nthl y rental: $264. 71
Insurance to be maintained by the City with a $1,000.00
ded uctible for property loss or damage
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in the
agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of Finance
of the City of Aspen).

Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or
portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or
unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions thereof.
Section 3

Nothing in this ordinance shall be construed to affect any
right, duty or liability under any ordinances in effect prior to
the effective date of this ordinance, and the same shall be con-
tinued and conclLrled under such prior ordinance.
Section 4
A publ ic hear ing on the ord inance shall be held on the a.?~_
