AN ORDIN1\N::E APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A VEHICIE LEASE
BE'IWEEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN AND STEVINSON CHEVROLET, INC. WHICH
LEASE IS FOR A TERM OF 'IHIRTY-5IX (36) MONTHS AND PROVIDES FOR A
MONTHL Y RENTAL FA YMENI' OF $363.59
WHEREAS, the City Council is required, by reason of Section
10.8 of the hone rule charter, to ratify all long-term rental
agreements by ordinance, and it wishes to do g) with respect to
such outstanding agreement between the City of Aspen and Stevinson
Olev rol et, Inc.
NCM, 'IHEREFORE, BE IT ORm INE D BY THE CITY COUNC IL OF
THE CITY OF AS PEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That it does hereby ratify and approve that vehicle lease
agreenent between the City of Aspen and Stevinson Chevrolet, Inc.
providing for the leasing of a 1986 Chevrolet Blazer K, twbdel
#CK10516, Serial Nunber 1GffiK1 ai5GF143768, under the following
terms and cond itions:
Term of rental: 36 months
Mo nthl y rental: $363. 59
Insurance to be maintained by the City with a $1,000.00
deductible for property loss or damcge
an:] such other common contract provisions as are specifierl in the
agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of Finance
of the City of Aspen).

Section 2

If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or
portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or
unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct am independent
provision and sllch holding shall not affect the validity of the
renaining portions thereof.
Section 3

Nothing in this ordinance shall be construed to affect any
right, d ut y or 1 i ab il ity und er an y ord inances in effect pr ior to
the effective date of this ordinance, and the same shall be con-
tinued and conclLrled under such prior ordinance.
